Narrative & Characters

Characters according to propp's theory
Hannah - antagonist
Jake - victim
Stevie - princess

Narrative idea
Antagonist (Hannah) has the victim (Jake) tied up in her kitchen to a chair. We then cut to the princess (Stevie) who is in a relationship with Jake. Stevie is trying to ring Jake but cannot get an answer. We then cut back to Jake tied up which prevents him from answering his phone. The antagonist then throws Jake's phone when she see's it lighting up as Stevie is ringing him. We come to a table in the room where Jake is tied up. On the table there are many props including; cinema tickets, photographs, knifes, rose petals, and tea lights places around a bigger candle. The antagonist then lights each candle, we have a flashback for each candle lit. The antagonist then picks up the bigger candle and carries it to the victim. The antagonist then blows out the candle and we hear a very high pitched scream. through the entire opening sequence there is no dialogue, instead we have music and credits.
